Most of the established MG suppliers don't list Magnette parts for sale, although some parts are the same as MGA or other models (but you have to know which ones). NTG often list the application of part numbers to other models, which may help those outside the UK.

The following suppliers provide parts and/or panels for MG Magnette owners. Inclusion of their details on this site does not imply any warranty, liability or other endorsement of  their products by the MGCC Magnette Register. However,  fellow members have, in the past, found them to be very good and have recommended them for inclusion on this site.

As with many owners the clock in our Magnette stopped. Looking at Magnette websites there are a few solutions around getting a new mechanism to fit the old case. Some involving grinding away the back of the old face to accept the new works. I was reluctant to do this in case I ruined the clock face. Tried a couple of clock repairers - no joy. Then I came across a website Thegaugeshop.com. The guy, Alan Davis, who runs it, specialises in Jager clocks. More in hope than anything else I sent the clock off to Alan. He was a bit slow and needed a couple of email 'nudges' but the clock returned yesterday and has been running fine since then.
Cost? £45!
