Here's a report of the 19th Z Magnette Day in Germany...

17th June 2015

There is some more information about the Harrogate weekend on the events page - please make sure you book accommodation well in advance. Magnette owner David Griffiths is one of the organizers for Harrogate MG Club and has kindly offered to reserve parking for Magnettes at the Sunday show, so we need an indication of numbers. David has also arranged a venue for the Register AGM, which will take place at 3pm on Saturday 8th August, as a stop-off from the scenic drive.

There is a report on the funeral of Lou Shorten, which took place in Norwich on 11th May and was attended by many Magnette owners.

Due to the information on Lou Shorten's death, we did no update for a while, to keep these information on top. But over Easter two events took place:
The traditional Register opening "Magnettes & Steam" in the UK and the National Meet in Melbourne, where several Magnettes attended.

It is with deep regret that we have to inform you that at 2.50 pm yesterday afternoon, Lou Shorten lost her battle with cancer. Everybody who ever was in need for parts will have known her - and her knowledge of MAGNETTEs (and owners as well).
We lost a character and our Register President.
Our thoughts are with John and her family.

UPDATE - the funeral will take place on Monday 11th May, 1.15pm at St Faith's Crematorium, Norwich NR10 3LF, and afterwards at Lenwade House Hotel. If you are planning to attend please contact Peter Martin (01580-763056)
