Crich Tramway Village 29th May 2021
Our first Register event since 2019 was at Crich Tramway Village near Matlock in Derbyshire. There were at least a dozen Magnettes, and several owners in other cars.
Given that many Magnettes wouldn't have moved far in the previous year, thankfully no serious mechanical problems were reported, and it was good to see some new faces along with committee members and Register regulars
Early clouds gave way to untypically sunny bank holiday weather as we enjoyed the museum's scenic location and various attractions - reconstructed pub, tearoom and other buildings, a static collection of more than 80 vehicles, and of course riding the trams, one of which was an interesting 1920s model from Portugal. Many thanks to organizers David and Sandra Griffiths and also the very helpful staff who made us particularly welcome and allowed us to park on the cobbled museum main street.
