International Magnette WeekendThis long-running annual event will be for the second time at Lake Starnberg in the picturesque Five Lakes Region just outside of Munich. In an informal atmosphere, without the stress of a rally, Chinese signs and passage controls, we plan trips to the foothills of the Alps to Munich and around the lake. Friday The vehicles arrive at the “Beim Fischer” campsite in St. Heinrich, less than 50 meters from the lake. In addition to the campsite, there is also a limited number of simple but inexpensive rooms in the guest house available. Since these are fully booked early - Lake Starnberg is a popular holiday destination - interested parties should decide as soon as possible and contact me and/or reserve directly there (http://www.camping-beim-fischer.de). If you like it more exclusive: A five-minute walk to the Gasthof and Hotel Fischerrosl (https://fischerrosl.de).
In the evening: get-together at the Gasthof Fischerrosl in St. Heinrich.
Saturday Breakfast at the lido kiosk directly on Lake Starnberg.
On this day, a longer trip around the Peißenberg is planned. We eat lunch in the old brickworks in Polling. Next door is HK Engineering, the specialist for the 300 SL (W 198). If anyone has space in the garage...
In the evening we eat again in the Gasthof Fischerrosl.
Sunday Breakfast at the lido kiosk directly on Lake Starnberg.
If you still feel like it on Sunday: We drive to Munich, past the Olympic Stadium from 1972 to Motorworld, the Munich scene meeting place for driving culture. There is so much to discover here for classic car friends
Entry fee 50 euros for 1 car and 2 people. Please contact Guido Reinking (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) who is willing to take cash payment on arrival. He advises that the hotel is fully booked but camping is still available. You can also find more complete information (in German) at www.mgcc.de/veranstaltungen/27-z-magnette-day/
