MGs in the Park 1st June 2025
There was a good turnout of Magnettes for the Oxfordshire MGOC 'MGs in the Park' event at the Cotswolds Wildlife Park.
This is an annual event for all MGs, with a generous invitation to just turn up on the day and enjoy free entry for driver and passenger. As well as a good variety of cars, there's the attractions of the wildlife park with animals from meerkats up to giraffes and rhinos. Thanks to MGOC organiser Tony Cotter for reserving a Magnette Register space
The weather was dry and mainly sunny, but a brisk and chilly wind for most of the day made us glad of the gazebo to shelter. David and Kerri Halliday joined us en route to a European event, accompanied by Paul Vermont and several other Australian MGCC members. A couple of Magnette owners entered the Pride of ownership and it was awarded to a beautifully presented Iris blue ZB
