MG Fest North 6-7th September 2025

MG Fest North was the main MGCC weekend of the year, at Croft Circuit near Darlington. The infield was large enough for all models of MGs to be parked in Register groups around a central arena used for displays and autotests, compered by classic car journalist Wayne Scott. The racing programme was organised separately by BRSCC but included the MG Cockshoot Cup

Being further north than most of our events, there was some uncertainty about numbers attending, but we managed 4 Magnettes on Saturday and 6 on Sunday, including a beautifully presented Mk3 Farina Magnette brought by Tony and Jane Duffy and parked next to an interesting Riley 4/72 Farina. The weather stayed mostly dry if a little windy, and rain held off until just before the close on Sunday. The success of the whole event was largely due to volunteers from the MGCC Tyne-Tees Centre under the leadership of Noel Lindford, and we were particularly grateful to Tyne-Tees member David Alexander and his family for help with logistics
