1954 ZA Magnette (Tintop)
She is in BMW Chillie Red, she has had a bare metal respray in October 2023.
Rebuilt 1622 engine, HS4 11/2" carbs, 3 branch exhaust manifold and bespoke straight through stainless exhaust.
A new pump to engine compartment fuel line has been fitted and a Filter King between tank and pump.
She runs on newly refurbished wire wheels with new inner tubes, rim tape and tyres.
5 Speed Hi Gear gearbox conversion and a 4.3 rear axle.
The body has all been done by the previous owner and includes from what I can see of; new floors, sills, nearside lower inner wing, boot so it is all very solid.
Brakes are all very good (drums all round) with a new master cylinder with stainless sleeving.
The interior has a new headlining, front seats are adjustable Rover 45 in grey leather and the rear seat has been recovered to match at great expense so I was told!
I have made and fitted new door cards in grey and a new carpet in red. A lot of sound deadening material has been fitted.
The car is converted to negative earth and fitted with indicators which have LED bulbs. The front ones also have the LED sidelights which turn off when indicating and back on again when finished, they are very bright! The trafficators also work at the same time but do not flash.
New battery, new spark plugs, and condensor.
The wiper motor has been changed to a later one with self parking.
Front and rear screens refitted with new seals, all door seals are new.
Front suspension has been refurbished with new bushes etc and the rear struts are adjustable GAZ and are fitted upright.
Refubished Lucas Windtone horns , lovely noise!
She has a new MOT.
