I think the tyres (tires) are a larger section so they would make the wheels look a lot bigger

It must be an optical illusion, because the wheels look bigger than 15 inch. I see he has the trims fitted too, looks nice.

the SL-290ER is mine with original wheels,
the S-MGZB58 is Jörg Wiefler's with TR6 wheels and hub caps.

I had my stock wheels banded by a chap in Scarborough. He did all 4 wheels with a 1.5" band for around £200. I have been driving the new wheels for a year or so now and am entirely happy with the workmanship.
