Hi Trevor,

As you know, I too have your heavy ARB fitted and I am still using the original type front shocks. Cornering is very stable and confidence inspiring even though, on a bumpy road, I get some front-end bounce. This is no doubt due to wear in the shocks, so I would be interested to hear what others are using too.

I know this subject has come up before, but no real conclusions seem to have been drawn, I am looking to replace the front shock absorbers MGC items have been suggested as an option.
I would appreciate some suggestions as the car has a heavy duty anti roll bar (Swaybar) and the standard shocks look as though they may struggle. Spax do a gas shock at £100 a corner has anyone had any experience?
